SB 1018: Public Deposits
GENERAL BILL by Ingoglia
Public Deposits; Adding credit unions to a list of financial institutions that are eligible to be qualified public depositories; specifying the losses against which certain solvent banks, savings banks, savings associations, and credit unions must guarantee public depositors; providing that a specified limit on securities eligible to be pledged as collateral applies to qualified public depositories, rather than to banks and savings associations, etc.
