Pub. Rec./Code Inspector Body Cameras; Provides exemption from public records requirements for body camera recordings recorded by code inspector; requires local government to retain body camera recordings for specified timeframe; provides for future legislative review & repeal of exemption; provides statement of public necessity; directs Division of Library & Information Services of DOS to adopt specified retention requirement for certain body camera recordings by specified date.
Effective Date: on the same date that HB 509 or similar legislation takes effect
