    HB 817: Reporting Lost or Stolen Firearms

    GENERAL BILL by Robinson, F.; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Campbell

    Reporting Lost or Stolen Firearms; Requires individuals to report lost or stolen firearms to local law enforcement agency in jurisdiction in which loss or theft occurred within specified timeframe; requires such individuals to provide specified information to local law enforcement agency; requires local law enforcement agency to create incident report upon receiving report of lost or stolen firearm; requires individual who reported firearm lost or stolen to notify local law enforcement agency to which loss or theft was reported within specified timeframe if firearm is subsequently recovered.
