    HB 953: Gambling

    GENERAL BILL by Barnaby

    Gambling; Revises policy & reporting requirements for slot machine gaming licensure; prohibits betting on athletic contests with knowledge that results are prearranged or predetermined; prohibits false personation of personnel of Florida Gaming Control Commission; revises criminal penalties for numerous offenses; prohibits trafficking in slot machines or parts; prohibits transportation of specified numbers of persons or persons of certain ages for purpose of facilitating illegal gambling; prohibits certain offenses related to Internet gambling; prohibits specified gambling or gaming advertisements; provides construction; preempts to state regulation of gaming, gambling, lotteries, or any activities described in specified provisions.
